Cupcakes on the Avenue started the way most great things do — with a love of baking and a desire to share it. What began as making treats for friends and family quickly grew into something much bigger, fuelled by the incredible response from the Highworth community.
Every Saturday at Highworth Market you'll find us behind a stall piled high with fresh bakes — and every week the regulars come back. That means the world to us. It's not just about the cakes; it's about the smiles, the conversations, and the little moments that make a market morning special.
We believe that food made with care tastes different. That's why everything is handmade, fresh, and baked with love — never mass-produced, never from a packet.
Our Shortbread Delight has become something of a legend at Highworth Market. Buttery, crumbly, melt-in-your-mouth perfection — it's the bake that started the loyal following and the one customers message us about most.

Alongside our signature Shortbread Delight, we offer a rotating selection of fresh bakes at market each week — cupcakes, brownies, cookies, cookie pies and more. What's available changes with the seasons and our inspiration, so every Saturday is a little different.
For custom celebration cakes, we work closely with each customer to bring their vision to life — birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers. If you can imagine it, we'll do our best to bake it.
Every single item is made by hand. No shortcuts, no factory batches — just proper baking.
